Active Shooter
40 training hours (5 days)
Cost: $850
This course is designed to provide patrol officers, on-duty SWAT officers, and police management personnel that may be initial responders, with the necessary skills to counter an active shooter incident and/or hostage situation occurring in the confines of a school, government building, or business in their jurisdiction. This course involves live fire drills at the range followed by extensive scenarios conducted in a combination of commercial buildings, schools and churches. At the conclusion of the course, participants will be better prepared to handle an active shooter incident where the mission is time critical, the tactical team may not arrive in time and lives may be lost if no action is taken.
Prerequisites:
Restricted to full time local, state, and federal law enforcement officers and active duty military personnel whose duties may put them in a first responder role during an active shooter incident in their jurisdiction.

- Structure, hallway, and stairwell clearance drills

- Engaging multiple threats
- Introduction to IED
- Medical Contingencies

- 200 rounds duty ammunition for pistol
